Trauma Studies Centre

The Trauma Studies Centre (TSC) is part of Centre de recherche de l'Institut universitaire en santé mentale de Montréal (Québec, CANADA). It is a multidisciplinary research, teaching and clinical centre dedicated to trauma-related issues. It is based on collaboration between researchers and caregivers from the fields of psychology, criminology, psychiatry, neurobiology, cognitive science and workplace health and safety. It is managed by researchers and psychologists Dr. Stéphane Guay and Dr. André Marchand.

Its mission is :

To develop our understanding of post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) in terms of evaluation and treatment

To offer treatment to victims of traumatic events

To raise awareness of PTSD and related issues
